Registration date NOW 2.0 is approaching

Updated: Aug 9, 2023

Because of the coronavirus, the first Emergency Bridging for Employment (NOW) entered into force in March. The regulation was intended to compensate employers who suffered a loss of turnover during the months of March, April and May. As a result, employees could continue to count on their wages. Because the coronavirus doesn’t seem to be leaving any time soon, a second bridging measure was introduced: the NOW 2.0.

The aim of the NOW's second application period is to retain as many jobs as possible. The period for the second NOW application covers the months of June, July, August and September.

Are you an employer who wants to make use of the NOW 2.0? Then you need to apply before 31 August 2020. In an earlier blog Wolfs Advocaten extensively discussed the content of the NOW 2.0. Here you can find all the necessary information.
