Jolanda studied at the University of Groningen, where she obtained a bachelor's degree in Dutch law and a master's degree in criminal and private law. During her Master's, Jolanda also gained more in-depth knowledge of, among others, health law. During her studies, Jolanda completed several internships, participated in knowledge-expanding projects and worked as a volunteer legal advisor at the 'Rechtswinkel Groningen' and as a legal assistant at Victim Support Netherlands.

Jolanda works as an attorney in the general civil practice with a focus on commercial law, liability law and insurance law. In addition, Jolanda focuses on legal issues concerning (the production and distribution of) cannabis (products).

In her spare time, Jolanda likes to read a good book, cook or play sports.
