Insolvency law, also known as bankruptcy law, covers situations in which a natural person or legal entity is experiencing difficulty paying creditors, which can potentially result in bankruptcy. Insolvency law also covers regulations relating to suspension of payments, the actual occurrence of bankruptcy and restructuring.
